A Homegrown 4G in Odisha
On 30 September, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated BSNL’s “Swadeshi 4G” network in Jharsuguda, Odisha. India’s first fully indigenous 4G network was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jharsuguda, Odisha.The network is part of a nationwide rollout by the state-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
Think: India now has a 4G telecom system developed with local tech — much like baking your own cake instead of importing it.
